Pride exists to validate the feelings of those who have been ostracized and bring hope to those who fear that it will happen to them. With pain comes a need for extra happiness in order to find balance. There are no straight pride events because there exists no need for them; being straight is both acceptable and safe. Pride is part celebration, part protest.

Hey guys who need binders and other stuff
